Environmental Awareness
You will be learning about the importance of trees within our ecosystem.
Begin by studying the artwork to the right, by Romey Stuckart.
Notice how she fills up the entire artwork and uses emphasis to make
the tree stand out.
Start by cutting out a tree shape out of cardboard.
Next, paint the background, making sure to fill it up with grass, other trees, etc.
Then, paint the cardboard tree a contrasting color so it stands out.
Glue the cardboard tree onto your background.
