Post Modernism

Many Post Modern Artists where influenced by past artists.  For example, New Realism was started because of the Realism movement that happened over a hundred years earlier.

 

Postmodernism is a late-20th-century movement in the arts, architecture, and criticism that was a departure from modernism. Postmodernism includes skeptical interpretations of culture, literature, art, philosophy, history, economics, architecture, fiction, andliterary criticism.
